Never Let a HubSpot Lead Go Unanswered
Nexio Watch monitors new HubSpot leads and alerts you when a lead has not been contacted within your target response time.
Set your response target. Nexio Watch watches new leads and alerts you when follow-up is overdue.
HubSpot integration is currently in beta while app verification is in progress.
Followed up in time
- HubSpot lead created
- Response timer starts
- Sales rep contacts lead
- Healthy
Follow-up overdue
- HubSpot lead created
- No follow-up within your target
- Alert sent
Fast Leads Become Cold Leads
New leads can sit unnoticed in a CRM while everyone assumes someone else is handling them. Nexio Watch keeps an eye on your incoming HubSpot leads and lets you know when response time exceeds your target.
- A new form lead arrives but nobody responds
- A lead is assigned but follow-up is delayed
- Leads arrive outside the normal workflow and get missed
How it works
- 1
Connect HubSpot
Connect your HubSpot portal to Nexio Watch with OAuth. Nexio Watch requests read-only access to contacts — one portal per organization.
- 2
Set your response target
Choose how long a new lead may go without follow-up before you want to hear about it — anywhere from 30 minutes to 7 days. The default is 1 hour.
- 3
Get alerted
When a lead is still uncontacted past your target, Nexio Watch sends an alert to the channels you already use for monitoring.
Alert channels
- SMS
- Slack
- Discord
- Telegram
- Outbound webhook
Alerts follow your existing Nexio Watch routing, including escalation steps and quiet hours.
Nexio Watch checks your portal on a schedule — every 30 minutes at the fastest. An overdue lead is reported on the first check after your target elapses, so alerts arrive within one check interval rather than instantly.
What counts as contacted
Nexio Watch reads HubSpot's own “Last contacted” property on the contact record. If HubSpot has never recorded contact activity for a lead, and the lead was created longer ago than your response target, Nexio Watch flags it as overdue.
Because we use HubSpot's own field, whatever HubSpot counts as contact activity — a logged call, a tracked email, a logged meeting — counts here too.
What the check looks at
- Contacts whose lifecycle stage is “Lead”
- Created longer ago than your response target
- With no “Last contacted” value recorded by HubSpot
Beta behavior may evolve as additional HubSpot activity types are supported.
Also watch for lead intake going quiet
A second, optional check alerts you when no new contacts have been created in your portal at all within a window you choose — from 30 minutes up to 30 days. It catches a broken form path or a disconnected integration, where the problem is that nothing is arriving.
What an alert looks like
Alerts contain the leads that are past your window, oldest first, with how long each has been waiting.
2 uncontacted HubSpot leads past the contact window: • Jane Smith <jane@acme.example> (95m) • John Carter <john@acme.example> (72m)
Up to 5 leads are listed by name, with a “+N more” line when there are others. Each check looks at up to 50 uncontacted leads.

Your HubSpot Data Stays Yours
Read-only access
Nexio Watch requests the contacts read scope only. It cannot create, edit or delete anything in your HubSpot portal.
Only the scopes we need
The connection asks for two scopes: OAuth and read access to contact records. Nothing else.
Tokens stored encrypted
Your HubSpot refresh token is encrypted with AES-GCM before it is stored, and is only decrypted to run your checks.
Hosted in the EU
Operational data is hosted in Finland and checks run from European regions.
Disconnect anytime
Disconnecting revokes the stored token and pauses your HubSpot monitors immediately.
Nexio Watch is an independent product and is not endorsed by HubSpot.

Business plan
HubSpot lead monitoring is part of the Nexio Watch Business plan, alongside the rest of your uptime and conversion monitoring. The HubSpot integration itself is in beta.
Questions
Does Nexio Watch replace HubSpot workflows?
No. It acts as an independent monitoring layer that checks whether lead follow-up happens within your target time. Your HubSpot workflows keep running exactly as they do now.
Does Nexio Watch contact leads automatically?
No. The current product monitors and alerts. It has read-only access to HubSpot and cannot send anything to your leads.
What counts as lead follow-up?
Nexio Watch reads HubSpot's own “Last contacted” property. If HubSpot has recorded contact activity for the lead — such as a logged call, tracked email or logged meeting — the lead counts as contacted. If that property has never been set, and the lead is older than your response target, it is reported as overdue.
Can I choose the response-time target?
Yes. You can set any target from 30 minutes to 7 days, and the default is 1 hour. Checks run every 30 minutes at the fastest, so an overdue lead is reported on the first check after your target elapses.
Can different teams have different response targets?
Not yet. One HubSpot portal can be connected per organization, with one lead monitor and one response target for it. Per-team targets are not available in the beta.
Which leads does the check look at?
Contacts whose HubSpot lifecycle stage is “Lead”. Contacts at other lifecycle stages are not included in the uncontacted-lead check.
Does Nexio Watch modify my HubSpot data?
No. The connection requests read-only access to contacts, so Nexio Watch cannot create, change or delete records in your portal.
Why is the integration marked Beta?
HubSpot app verification is still in progress. Monitoring works, but the connection experience may change once verification completes.
Will I see an authorization warning?
Beta users may see additional authorization messaging from HubSpot when connecting, until app verification is complete.
Is Nexio Watch affiliated with HubSpot?
No. Nexio Watch is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with HubSpot.
